If you are creating craft projects with glitter, in that location will always be a bit of glitter mess no affair how conscientious you are.  These are a few of my best tricks for minimizing that aggravating mess:

  • Always work over a piece of paper that is slightly bigger than your project. This volition catch much of the excess glitter.
  • Just use as much glitter as you need. That might however exist quite a scrap of glitter, but if you tin avoid dumping the whole container out onto your projection you will save some make clean-up.
  • After you have finished glittering your project, pick up that slice of paper, fold it in half, and carefully pour the glitter back into its original container.  Piece of work slowly and then you lot can be more accurate.
  • Clean up rogue glitter with a lint roller or a loop of tape.

If you really, really hate loose glitter, consider using products with glitter built correct in.  I love Glitterific Pigment and Extreme Glitter Mod Podge!  Good luck with all your glittery gift making this year!
